About The author

Patrick Watts studied his undergraduate degree in History at Birmingham University, England. Without the means to complete a desired Master of Arts degree after university, he entered industry where he has been a successful Chartered Financial Adviser for over a decade. His career has allowed him the time and resources to complete his Master of Arts degree within the prestigious war studies department at King’s College London, studying International Relations and Contemporary Warfare. His dissertation laid the groundwork for this book, entitled: “Method not madness: Discourse analysis to examine how President Trump has attempted to alter NATO principles, identity and culture”. Patrick is currently studying to complete his Master of Science degree with the Alef Trust, in Consciousness, Spirituality, and Transpersonal Psychology.

As a British Americanophile, he has a deep love for a country that is not his own and can analyse all aspects of the American Empire without accusation of bias toward a political party; a luxury not afforded to American writers.

He lives in London, England.
