The Launch of The End of the American EmpireOn Saturday 10th February The End of the American Empire was officially released in paperback and Kindle forms! It was truly humbling to have so many of my favourite people in one room for the launch on Saturday night. A few thank yous are due for enabling the night to be such a success. Firstly to Louche Soho for kindly hosting the launch party, thank you! A big thank you to Forest Road Brewery and Mejuicer for provided refreshments on the night! Thanks to Lily, Emma and Sophia for helping out on the night selling books and making sure everyone had drinks. Another thank you to Alex Melia who was MC for the night and did a fantastic job with the Q&A. I also want to thank Guy Pittard and Lauren Hawkins for their amazing work on the book’s front cover. Huge thank you to Stella for all her help, I’m sure many of you would have received emails from Stella in the lead up to the launch. Stella is officially PatrickWattsBooks’ Head of Public Relations and Marketing, but she is also my literary manager, agent, operations manager and also my friend. Lastly, thank you to all those who came, all those who have bought a book and everyone else who has supported me on this journey to publish my debut book.
